Funderingar / Thoughts

Jobbar med mina låtar, men känner att de flesta är ganska lika, att jag använder samma eller liknande melodi- och/eller ackordslingor i flera låtar. Jag funderar på hur jag skall komma bort från "musikal-soundet" som ofta kännetecknat mina låtar, och hitta något helt unikt. Just nu skriver jag i varierande tempon och stilar, och jag vill vara mångsidig, men jag behöver något som är min stil också. Vad jag vill skall vara mitt "varumärke" tror jag är lugna, vackra låtar som berör, och som har ett unikt sound.
Upptäckte att jag hade en hög låtar jag inte anmält till STIM, så jag skyndade mig att göra det i dag. Har lärt mig att det vore att förneka att man skrivit låten att inte anmäla den, så jag skall ta det ännu mer seriöst framöver.

Working on my songs, but feel that most of them are pretty similar, that I'm using the same or similar melody and/or chord phrases in many songs. I'm thinking of how to get away from the "musical sound" which has often characterized my songs, and find something completely unique. Right now I write in varied tempos and styles, and I do want to be versatile, but I need something that's my style too. What I want to be my "trademark" I think are soft, beautiful songs which touch people, and which have a unique sound.
Discovered that I had a bunch of songs which I hadn't reported to STIM (the Swedish Performing Rights Society), so I hurried to do that today. I've learned that it would be to deny that you've written the song not to report it, so I'll take that even more seriously in the future.
