Ledsen att jag inte skrivit något här på snart en månad...
Efter tre sånglektioner börjar jag redan märka resultat. Jag har en bra coach nu och hoppas få fortsätta för henne länge till! Den viktigaste skillnaden känner jag är att jag börjar låta som en riktig solist, inte som en körtjej.
I söndags hade stråkorkestern konsert. Vi spelade nyskriven musik och det gick bra. Det har varit väldigt utvecklande att få jobba med den här typen av musik. Nu är jag nyfiken på vad vi skall göra härnäst.
Den viktigaste nyheten jag har är dock att jag nu har en ny hemsida, på egen domän! Den är under uppbyggnad fortfarande, men titta gärna in ändå:

Jag jobbar med att få färdigt några nya låtar för tillfället, och jag avslutar dagens blogginlägg med ett smakprov på vad som kan komma att bli en ny låt, "I'm Not a Choir Girl Anymore". Mycket nöje!
Sorry I haven't written anything here in almost a month...
After three singing lessons I already begin to notice results. I have a great coach now and hope to keep studying with her for a long time! The most important difference I feel is that I'm beginning to sound like a real soloist, not like a choir girl.
This past Sunday, the string orchestra had a concert. We played newly written music and it went well. It has been very developing to work with this type of music. Now I'm curious as to what we're going to do next.
The most important piece of news I have is however that I now have a new website, on my own domain! It's still under construction, but do check in anyway:

I'm working on finishing some new songs at the moment, and I'll close today's blog entry with a sample of what might become a new song, "I'm Not a Choir Girl Anymore". Enjoy!

It's taken time and lots of sweat and tears
It's taken strength to overcome my fears
It's taken quite a fight, but it was worth fighting for

I've taken the step into the light
I've taken the place that I know is right

I'm the act, not in the choir
